rinderleDAVID RINDERLE is a Research Assistant 2 with the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU)’s Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.

BACKGROUND  |  David grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mercyhurst University with degrees in Intelligence Studies and Public Health. While attending Mercyhurst he was on the golf team. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active, and traveling.


Q: Why is your work at the Begun Center important to you, to our community, and to the world?

Drug addiction has had a fatal and growing impact on our community. It is essential to evaluate and create specialized dockets to continue to serve vulnerable populations in our community.

Q: What is a cause about which you are particularly passionate?

Studying vulnerable populations and how the social determinants of health impact health.
